Howdy! Today is Round 2 Day 2 (R2D2) – LOADING DAY 2! Que The “LOADING Phase Song” – it’s Time For CHEESECAKE! And, we’ve definitely been getting our fair share of awesome party cheesecake consumption over the past 48 hours. yummmmmm
There’s something to be said for embracing each and every Phase of the hCG diet Treatment. It’s cool to have favorite things that you do and eat each time you transition. It gives you something to always look forward to and to love about each phase. Yesterday we enjoyed a “date night” together by eating dinner at The Cheesecake Factory at the beautiful new City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City.

Today the gluttony fun continued as we ate our way through a pound of bacon (each) a dozen eggs for two giant cheesy omelettes, bean & cheese burritos, guacamole, chocolate delight, fried cheese sticks, grilled artichoke hearts dipped in mayonnaise, french fries dipped in “Utah Fry Sauce” (Mayo + Ketchup), apples dipped in peanut butter, ice-cream, frozen yogurt, and . . . MORE CHEESE CAKE! (of course)
For the record, we also visited our garden and enjoyed harvesting a bumper crop of yummy veggies. 🙂

Wife insisted that we also pay a little visit to Macys to get some new threads (there was a sale, after all). Some of UtahMan’s size 38 waist pants have been awfully loose, and he has been accused by his daughter of suffering from a MAJOR case of SBS (“saggy butt syndrome”) So, he thought he would try on a size 36 for kicks. Unfortunately, the size 36 didn’t fit . . . drumroll please. . . BECAUSE HE NEEDED A SIZE 34!! WOOT!!

R2 Start Weight 215.5 lbs
Today’s Load Weight = 218.5 lbs
Now that we are on our SECOND Round of hCG we will always have our 1st Round as a continual reference point – thanks to our blog. It’s stunning and humbling to look back just Eleven short weeks ago (June 16, 2012) and realize that I was weighing in at 253.6 lbs, and I was squeezing myself into a size 44 pant! Today I am 35.1 lbs lighter and I’m actually wearing a size 34 (as of today)!! Personally, I can’t wait to see where Round 2 takes me!
R2 Start Weight 166.5
Today’s Load Weight = 168.1
Eleven weeks ago on R1D2 I weighed 191.3 lbs and was wearing a very tight size 16. Today I am 23.2 lbs lighter and a loose size 10. Like UtahMan, I’m excited to see where Round 2 will take me. I am hopeful that I will be getting a lot closer to my ultimate goal weight (130 lbs). My goal for this round will be to (hopefully) step into the 140s. I know that it might not happen because historically we have heard people don’t lose as much on Round 2 as their first Round. But, I’m staying cautiously optimistic.
This round is so much more fun already in so many ways. We already know how to load, and how NOT to load. We already know the foods that do and do not work for us, and the tips and tricks that make Phase 2 successful. Best of all, we already know that this WORKS! If we follow the program, keep the rules, drink our 1 gallon of water per day and get our 8 hrs of sleep per night we WILL lose pounds and inches, and we WILL Look and Feel FANTASTIC!
Round 2? What are we waiting for? Bring it on! 🙂
