Say what?! OK. Yes, of course vitamins are good for you! But…
. . . NOT on an empty stomach! Wife learned the hard way today. It’s a habit to take them in the morning with breakfast. Before she knew it, she’d grabbed and downed them with a big swig of lemon water. The consequence was rather dismal.
Wife: Big Note to self Drinking an herbal tea for breakfast does not constitute enough in the stomach for digesting vitamin & calcium pills. You will likely end up having to pull over to puke in a random parking lot driving to work (not cool), then feeling nauseated the rest of the morning and having a really hard time drinking your necessary water intake.
As it turns out, there is a link between getting sick from multi-vitamins that we should be cautious about.
So, here’s some great suggestions from our [totally awesome] friends at [the very best] Facebook “Little Choices Matter” HcG Diet Support Group:
1. Read / Watch: What Supplements Should You Be Taking?
2. Liquid Vitamins are easier on the tummy. [many recommended All One Nutritech]
3. Make a Strawberry Spinach Smoothie for breakfast and then take vitamins.
